Gretchen Hayes is a Partner at Sandbox Industries and co-lead of the Insurtech fund team. Gretchen serves on the investment committee, supports the fund’s portfolio of investments, and engages with LP investors regarding their strategic priorities.
Before joining Sandbox in 2017, Gretchen spent her entire career in the insurance industry. From 2013 to 2017, she led insurtech strategy, investments, and partnerships at Guy Carpenter (MMC). Earlier, over a twenty-five year period, Gretchen held global underwriting and other senior executive roles at AIG.
Gretchen lives in New York City and enjoys sunny holidays on the coast of Spain.
