Q. What's your story?

A. 

After spending time as a developer, a lawyer, and a management consultant, a good friend introduced me to Sandbox and I joined just a few weeks later. All of my various previous experiences seemed to finally make perfect sense together in my role at Sandbox.

Q. What inspires you?

A. 

I’m inspired by creating products and companies that make people happy (including customers, colleagues and partners). The entire process is completely fascinating and challenging to me: identifying a problem or a place where something is missing, defining how best to solve that problem, developing a brand, building and launching a solution, testing and testing and testing, and working through all of the little bumps that come up along the way. Nothing is more rewarding than receiving an email from a customer saying how happy they are with one of our products, or overhearing someone on the street excitedly telling a friend about one of our companies.

Q. Why Sandbox?

A. 

I get to spend my days doing what excites me most: thinking about new business ideas in creative, innovative ways, and then actually making things happen, and I get to do all of this with an impressive team of friends. I am continually surprised by what I find myself doing each day, and always stretching myself and learning something new.

Q. Where can we find you outside of work?

A. 

Anywhere outside! Some of my favorite activities are flag football with the formidable Sandbox team, tennis with my fiance Ben, running in Golden Gate Park our dog, and skiing whenever I get the chance. I also love to spend time with friends, cook, eat, and travel.
