Q & A
Q. What's your story?
A.
Studying a number of different disciplines, you could say that I am an intellectually curious person. Therefore, I took a diverse range of subjects while at University. These subjects helped me develop a framework to approach problems which I use as a resource to apply in the workplace – following a great summer work experience at General Catalyst Partners, I became aware of my great interest in the Venture Capital industry. After striking up a conversation with Millie, and learning about the culture at Sandbox and the investment strategy, I knew that Sandbox was exactly what I was looking for and thankfully she gave me the opportunity to help out.
Q. What inspires you?
A.
Entrepreneurs who are passionate are inspiring because they exemplify the qualities of hard work, collaboration, and creativity.
Q. Why Sandbox?
A.
Due to the resources of Sandbox, we get the opportunity to bring businesses to life at an extremely fast pace, providing unique opportunity to learn and contribute in a number of different spheres. In my first weeks here, I have already have been involved in developing marketing strategies, new inventory/accounting systems, and external investment analysis. Combining this with being in the presence of an amazing team makes this the place to be. Also, having no dress code is pretty great.
Q. Where can we find you outside of work?
A.
Spending time with family is number one, but I really enjoy trying something new as often as I can – I guess that’s the only pattern. My recent endeavors include learning Mandarin, and Muay Thai. I also am a firm believer in giving back and am actively involved in further expanding Soham for Kids, a charity school for underprivileged children in Mallapur, India.
